Saunders Sermons

Saunders Sermons is an American singer, trombonist, song writer. Born and raised in Miami, FL and New York City.
 

Saunders soulful background began in church where he developed at 3 years old singing Gospel music and playing drums in his grandfather’s church.

Later in his childhood he picked up the trombone at the age of 11 and never stoped.

Saunders‘s love for Jazz music grew stronger and stronger in college when majoring in Jazz performance at Florida A&M University (Located in Tallahassee Florida) & the New School University.（Located in New York）

Studying Jazz has enabled him to hone his skills as a trombonist while branching out as a singer and songwriter.

Since 2010 Saunders has grown to become an established independent artist with an admirable music career.

Saunders versatility has landed him tours with Gospel, R&B, Classic Jazz, Blues, and Hip Hop artists.

Saunders has performed with Jazz trumpeter Roy Hargrove （2009–2010）Jazz trumpeter Nicholas Payton（2012）

and Jazz saxaphonist Eric Wyatt（2020）

Currently Saunders has toured with Chinese pop star Liu Yu Xin for her Arena tour 《Xanado》around China (2023).

Which has opened the door for him as a bandleader, since then he went on a wider path and later on 《The Timeless Wanderer EP》his second album released in (2018)

and then 《Midnight Sky EP》in（2021）

Saunders received his Grammy Status in（2010）for his horn arrangement work with R&B/Soul singer Maxwell and Blues Super group The Tedeschi Trucks Band（2011）
